Specially Gifted Gala 2023 Presenting Sponsor: HRlogics
At Specially Gifted Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting families caring for children with disabilities. Through our upcoming gala, A Night at the Casino, we aim to provide a memorable experience while building a stronger community. SGF is honored to shine a spotlight on the Specially Gifted Gala 2023 Presenting Sponsor, HRlogics, and share how our organization connected with them to further our mission.
A Night at the Casino Gala
On November 18, 2023, we will be hosting our Second Annual Specially Gifted Gala at Glover Park Brewery Upper-Level Event Space in Marietta, Georgia. The night will be full of casino table games alongside thrilling entertainment, delectable hors d’oeuvres and beverages, captivating live performances, a raffle, and various other forms of entertainment. Our goal is not only to provide an enjoyable evening, but also to foster a sense of community among our supporters.
Building Community Through Networking
The gala serves as a unique opportunity for SGF to connect with our partners and celebrate their support. We believe that building strong community connections is essential to our organization’s success. It was through the power of networking that our co-founder, Macey, connected with Shannon Scott, the CEO and Co-Founder of HRlogics.
The LinkedIn Connection
Macey, an avid LinkedIn user and advocate for the intentional online presence, discovered Shannon through the platform. He created a post around the concept of changing the world by creating a job for someone. Macey responded by quoting a section that she could relate to.
"I'm not interested in impacting the world. I'm interested in impacting people in the 1-mile radius around me." I love this so much! My exact feeling when I began Specially Gifted Foundation. I want to help the families I sit across from at the local soccer game or wave hello to in the small restaurant downtown.
Macey Price Belter
Little did she know, Shannon would then reach out to see how he could get involved with SGF. The reason the story behind this connection is a vital part of the sponsorship is because it is a testament to the power of community connections.
