The Second Annual Specially Gifted Gala, sponsored by HRlogics and hosted by Specially Gifted Foundation, was a resounding success. On November 18, 2023, at the Glover Park Brewery in Marietta, Georgia, the gala brought together supporters, sponsors, and community members for an enchanting evening of fun, philanthropy, and community building. In this blog post, we will highlight the key elements, sponsors, and the impact this event will have on families caring for children with disabilities.
Every Great Event Must Have a Great Theme
Our 2023 Specially Gifted Gala theme, “A Night at the Casino,” transported attendees into the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas. The venue was transformed into a thrilling gambling experience, featuring blackjack, roulette, and craps tables. Whether guests were seasoned players or beginners, friendly dealers guided them through the games to create an pleasurable experience for all. As we played the many hands we were dealt, the best part was knowing the true reward of the game: enriching the lives of the families we serve.

Our Specially Gifted Gala Served Only the Best
In addition to the casino games, the gala offered captivating live entertainment, which kept the energy high throughout the night. Although some surprises were kept under wraps, attendees were promised an unforgettable experience, and they were not disappointed.
Guests indulged in mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres crafted by talented chefs and enjoyed a wide selection of carefully selected spirits from the open bar. Thanks to our beverage sponsor, we had the great pleasure of offering Tito’s Handmade Vodka to our guests which was generously donated by Tito’s for the event. Another generous donation came from a local raffle sponsor, Legends Distillery, making it possible to serve one of their small batch bourbons.
Although the culinary delights and refreshing beverages paired well with the casino games and ensured a delightful evening for all in attendance, there were many other cards in the deck of entertainment that night.
The night featured a talented violinist who serenaded guests as they were graciously welcomed into the event. In addition to the brilliant photographer that captured so many incredible moments from the evening, we had a Click360 booth for guests to strike their best poses in motion and receive their exclusive gala themed video to take memories home with them.
The card we held up our sleeve until last minute was the casino-themed showgirls. We were thrilled with the atmosphere they created as they gracefully glided throughout the venue putting on a show that kept everyone mesmerized throughout the night. And, of course, we had an incredible DJ to give us all the perfect excuse to mingle on the dancefloor.
It’s safe to say that there was never a dull moment.

Funny money might have bought you poker chips, but donations in the form of real money got you a raffle ticket. These raffle tickets provided you with an opportunity to win exclusive experiences and valuable items while supporting SGF’s mission.
