Second Annual Specially Gifted Golf Tournament

Second Annual Specially Gifted Golf Tournament

Welcome to the Second Annual Specially Gifted Golf Tournament, where swinging for a cause meets the joy of friendly competition.  On October 2, 2203, under the sunny skies and perfect 80-degree weather, we gathered at the picturesque Indian Hills Country Club in Marietta, Georgia.  With 29 teams ready to tee-off, this event was a true celebration of our mission to enrich the lives of families caring for children with disabilities.

Golf Tournament Highlights

As the morning sun cast a golden glow over the lush fairways, golfers eagerly lined up, their clubs ready.  The air was filled with anticipation and laughter, as players shared jokes and friendly banter, setting the stage for a day filled with camaraderie and unforgettable moments.

Throughout the tournament, golfers showcased their impressive long drives and precision shots in the closest to the closest to pin competition.  The occasional shank was met with good-natured laughter, reminding us that even the best golfers have their off days.  But it was the beautiful drives that left everyone in awe, soaring through the clear blue skies and landing gracefully on the manicured greens.

As the golfing festivities wrapped up, select players took to the putting green for a thrilling putting contest and chance to demonstrate their skills and nerves of steel.  The competition was so intense that a tie-breaker was needed to determine the ultimate putting champion.  It was a moment of pure excitement and nail-biting suspense!

Beyond the Greens

While the golf tournament took center state, there were other attractions that added to the experience.  A 50/50 raffle and a Wellers Bourbon raffle offered participants a chance to win prizes, regardless of how well they fared on the course.  The event concluded with a delectable buffet, where golfers and supporters came together to celebrate the day’s achievements and enjoy a well-deserved feast.
