At Specially Gifted Foundation, we value partnerships of all sorts and sizes.  Being a nonprofit organization, these relationships fuel the driving force of SGF and enable us to fulfill our mission.  A lot of times this looks like a monetary contribution towards our giftings, and other times can be a little different.  With this recent partnership, the donation serves a different purpose.   When Oracle NetSuite partners with businesses, from small to enterprise level, the impact creates a positive shift in growth recognized by the entire organization.  As NetSuite customers, SGF is eager to witness the implementation of their software into our operations.

What is Oracle NetSuite?

Oracle NetSuite is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system designed to help organizations of all sizes manage different business functions all from one platform.  This software comes with modules for finance and accounting, customer relationship management (CRM), ecommerce, analytics and more.  Starting out as Netledger in 1998 and then becoming NetSuite in 2003, it wasn’t until 2016 that they became part of the Oracle family.  At the time of the acquisition, they had around 11,000 customers.  Now they are the #1 cloud-based ERP with more than 31,000 customers in 217 countries and territories.

SGF Benefits in More Ways Than One

Usually when Oracle NetSuite partners with organizations and businesses, their services and products are priced on a quote-basis.  When a member of NetSuite’s Social Impact team reached out to express their admiration for SGF’s mission as a non-profit, they paired the kind sentiment with a generous donation.  NetSuite is offering their innovative software and pro-bono services at no cost to SGF!  This will be a very generous $5,000 in-kind donation.  This donation is geared toward improving efficiency and enhancing growth within our organization.

When Oracle NetSuite Partners With SGF…

To explain further how this partnership will benefit SGF as a whole, let’s talk about spreadsheets.  Personally, I enjoy spreadsheets and consider myself pretty savvy at building and managing them; however, they are time consuming, and if you need a custom report built you may have to navigate between multiple spreadsheets to collect the necessary data.

NetSuite provides the necessary tools for reporting and analytics based on real-time data.  This system captures information and provides easy access for all users via personalized dashboards that monitor the key performance indicators (KPI) most important to you.

As we each get onboarded and acquainted, SGF team members will have more flexibility and be able to serve our communities at an elevated level.  We owe a huge THANK YOU to Oracle + NetSuite for the generous donation that will enable our incredible team to save time and enhance productivity as we continue our mission.
