Boutiques for Benefit Fashion Show Fundraiser 2020

Our first fundraiser for Specially Gifted Foundation, the Annual Boutiques for Benefit Fashion Show took place on November 14th at the Desoto Theatre in Rome, Georgia. This is Macey Price writing to you guys, and I just want to say how awesome it was to come back to my hometown theatre, where I once performed on stage as a child, and host this charity event at the beautiful Desoto Theatre. The Rome community is a big part of Specially Gifted Foundation. Many of our Gifted Families and applicants waiting to be gifted come from the North Georgia area.

In a time of so much uncertainty, this foundation has survived because of the community members who have come together to back this organization. We were established in January of this year. Yes, you read that correctly. We started a non-profit organization right before a pandemic. Although it has been scary, our passion and vision for this mission have quieted any fear that arose. Honestly, when the uncertainty of how we are going to raise funds has arisen we pour ourselves into the families we have helped and the ones that are waiting for us to gift them. Their stories keep us going. These families give us that “we will figure it out” attitude every single day.

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”

Thank you to Heritage Auto Group for being the presenting sponsor of the first Annual Boutiques for Benefit Fashion Show.

We are grateful for every single person who came out to show support! Down to every single detail: live music, flowers, catering, hair and make-up professionals, were from the Rome community. We believe in supporting local and we will keep it this way every single event.

Thank you to our $500 Gold Sponsors:
