First Annual Spring in the Valley Festival – Rome, Georgia
Hey, ya’ll, Macey Price writing to you today to share with you about our upcoming event, Spring in the Valley. As a new nonprofit organization, these fundraiser events are crucial to not only raising money for our mission but also raising awareness for who we are trying to serve. Each fundraiser event holds a special place in my heart for a different reason.
Spring in the Valley Festival is particularly special because I have personally made sure there is a fun activity for every age group so that the event truly caters to the entire family.
One of the many things that make the Specially Gifted Foundation unique is that we aim to serve the whole family. Meaning, we not only give gifts based on what the child with disabilities may need, but we aim to serve the family as a whole by also offering gifts such as paying off outstanding medical bills, higher education scholarships, event tickets for the entire family, and more. If you are a family who has a child with disabilities or knows of someone who does, please click here to apply or refer them.
On Saturday, May 15th at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome, GA, the First Annual Spring in the Valley Festival will take place with gates opening at 10 am. 100% of tickets and vendor fees go directly to Specially Gifted Foundation. Please come and support this community family event by having lunch with us, shopping, listening to live music, and more.

Additionally, for this event, we partnered with a veteran’s nonprofit organization Fishing for Warriors to have them host a Cornhole Tournament where 100% of sign-up costs will go to the veterans.
A special thank you to the SGF Fundraising Committee who have voluntarily worked to pull this event together the past couple of months (Kandi Wade, Brey Bagley, Taylor Salmon, Lindsey Williams, and Rena Dunn). Thank you to the musicians, businesses, and individuals who have locked arms with us to make Spring in the Valley everything that it could be. Thank you to the entire Rome community, it feels good to be back home and serving the people of my hometown just as my grandparents have done before me.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
I appreciate you.
Now let’s have some fun on May 15th, and raise money and awareness for the sweet deserving families!
