Why we requested this gift
We are in need of a van to carry the wheelchair in. It does not have to be a handicap van, just a van to haul it in. Something like the picture I included would be fine. I am just trying to get a dependable way of going for my family for them. They have overcome so much, and I am so very proud of the family God blessed me with and I would not change it for anything. Our story
We are a family of 5. Our oldest is 24; he is on a ventilator and has a trach g-tube. He was born with a rare skeletal disease. Our middle son is 22; he has congestive heart failure but the doctor’s said he has time to reverse it which he is working very hard to do. Our youngest Hermione is 17 she had a stroke while I was pregnant with her I was on bed rest most of the time. The stroke caused a grade 3 bleed on her brain, and she was having seizures non stop. She went into a Coma they said she would probably not wake up. She proved them wrong when she woke up; she also has Cerebral Palsy Epilepsy, Hydrocephalus and a shunt. She has had several more strokes and each time they said more damage would be done she has not had any more than was already there. She has had several shunt revisions and strokes but has overcome every one of them. She has proved the doctor’s wrong time and time again.
