Why we requested this gift
Getting this grant would allow us to get Ashton an adaptive bike (which is not covered by insurance) to help strengthen his legs and give him a sense of confidence and hopefully help him get walking!
Our story
Ashton Clouse is the youngest of three kids. He is 2 1/2 years old and has one brother who is four and one sister who is seven. He requires the help of speech therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. He has developmental delays which cause him to be delayed in walking as well as talking. At 5 months old he was put on a feeding tube which he completely depends on for nutrition. We hope to give him a greater sense of confidence and help him continue to make progress.
