Braylen’s Family

Braylen's familyHey, our names are Zach and Kayla Bradley. We have lived in Calhoun, Ga our whole lives and we have 3 beautiful children, Daytona age 11, Braylen age 7 and Easton age 5. Our son, Braylen, was diagnosed with chiari malformation a couple days after his 7th birthday in April 2022. His whole life we have been trying to figure out what was going on with him and we finally got answers, not the answers any parents want. September 29th, 2022 was the day our lives changed forever. Hearing braylen needs brain decompressing ASAP due to his spinal cord thinning out and if we didn’t get the surgery soon his spinal cord could actually snap scared us to our core.

Braylen

He was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation (his brain extending out the bottom of his skull 15mm) and syrinx (a cyst in his spinal cord and his brain compressed against spinal cord to where his spinal cord isn’t getting any spinal fluid at the top of spinal cord which has cause his spinal cord to become thin). Even through all the severe migraines, body (mostly right side) going limp and losing feeling and falling A LOT and speech delay and fine/gross motor skills delay, he still smiles and laughs through it all. He brings so much laughter and joy to our family and we love him and all 3 of our babies to infinity and beyond! I don’t know how to attach links, but if anybody wants to get him something special for Christmas he loves SpongeBob, baby Yoda, he loves to dig and find treasure out in the yard, he loves gems/rocks, he wants to be a police officer and fireman, he loves Marvel and he’s a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan! We also have a GoFundMe set up for him to help pay for his surgery, hospital stay, gas etc. if you prefer that, or you could just simply pray for him and us. We love you all!!!
