Ashton’s Family

AshtonAshton Clouse is the youngest of three kids. He is 2 1/2 years old and has one brother who is four and one sister who is seven. He requires the help of speech therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. He has developmental delays which cause him to be delayed in walking as well as talking. At 5 months old he was put on a feeding tube which he completely depends on for nutrition. We hope to give him a greater sense of confidence and help him continue to make progress.

Getting this grant would allow us to get Ashton an adaptive bike (which is not covered by insurance) to help strengthen his legs and give him a sense of confidence and hopefully help him get walking!

Gift: Adaptive bike from Freedom Concepts

Location: Heard County

Given: December 2023

Ashton and his family’s gifting was made possible by SGF’s 2023 Giving Tuesday campaign. We set out with a goal of gifting TWO families in our 2023 Giving Tuesday campaign, and thanks to 19 generous donors we raised $2,467.76 of our $3,892 goal.  With these funds raised and the remainder being covered by SGF, we officially met our goal. We are so grateful to everyone that shared and contributed to our campaign and helped to make an impact this Giving Tuesday!
