facebook live – therapy thursday
Last week we started Therapy Thursday back! This time it is a Facebook Live in our Private Facebook Group. Every third Thursday of the month at 7 PM two of our therapists, Emily Gantt, SLP, and Ashley Elrod, OTA, will alternate covering important topics for parents and answering questions via Facebook Live. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and other people involved in special education or therapy roles to get direct access to two professionals.
Meet the therapists

specially gifted parent resource community FB Group
The Specially Gifted Parent Resource Community Group was created to be a safe space for parents, caregivers, therapists, etc. to befriend and engage with others in this community. In this Facebook Group we want to grow friendships, share ideas, exchange resources, and just support one another because as you know, it takes a village! This is a private group that can be found on our Facebook page, and the only way to have access to the Therapy Thursday Facebook Lives with our therapists. Therefore, make sure to join the group to tune into Therapy Thursday by clicking this link here.
Early Signs of Autism
Last Thursday, Emily Gantt, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, covered questions regarding early signs that speech therapy intervention is needed, how to get started, how to detect early signs of Autism, etc! She also answered questions from parents tuning in. After joining the FB Group mentioned above, last week’s video is accessible to be watched, and the comments can be read to gain valuable information.
